Project Enrollment

Turn an idea into an official project.

Any medical student in Thailand can propose one. Enrollment makes it officially part of IFMSA-Thailand.

Why enroll

What enrollment gets you.

01

Recognized certificates

Only enrolled activities may issue IFMSA-Thailand certificates, to coordinators and participants alike.

02

The IFMSA Programs route

Gives you the right to enroll in IFMSA Programs.

03

A place at the Activity Fair

Present your work at the IFMSA-Thailand National General Assembly, the IFMSA General Assembly, and the Asia-Pacific Regional Meeting.

04

An official project code

A permanent identifier: TH26001 for national and international projects, LC26001 for local ones, RP001 for renewals. Used on certificates and closing documents.

The process

From proposal to project code.

Three reviewers check your proposal at the same time, on a fixed timeline.

  1. STEP 01

    Write the proposal

Follow the national Proposal Guideline: level, committee, SDGs, focus area, SMART objectives, methodology, evaluation and budget.

    Open the Proposal Guideline →
  2. STEP 02

    Submit the enrollment form

Project director details, whether the project is new or a renewal of one that runs across terms, its level (international, national or local), your standing committee, and links to the proposal and the finance plan. Local Committee projects may use their own university's template.

  3. STEP 03

    Three reviewers, in parallel

VPAO checks the proposal structure and OKR, VPI checks the project content, and VPF checks the finance plan. First comments reach you within 14 days of submission. You revise within 7 days, and reviewers reply within 7 days.

  4. STEP 04

    Approval and code issue

When all three parts are approved, VPAO issues your project code and emails it to you: TH26001 for national and international projects, LC26001 for local ones, and RP001 for the renewal of a project that runs across terms.

Before you submit

What reviewers check.

These are the points reviewers check most closely.

SMART objectives

Between three and five. Each one Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic and Time-bound, with a success indicator attached.

SDG alignment

Which UN Sustainable Development Goals your project serves, ranked most to least relevant.

Evaluation plan

How you will measure success before, during and after. Qualitative or quantitative, but it must cover every objective.

A real budget

Itemized, with quantity, unit price, total and timeline. Name whoever is responsible for the project's finances.

Where proposals stand

Follow your proposal through the chain.

Where each proposal stands in the three-part review. Feedback goes to the Project Director, not here.
